Su Kyeong is an empathetic UX leader who established grounds up product design processes with business data technologies team at Amazon. She champions holistic, end to end UX processes with engineering and product and influence all to raise the bar. She took on the largest, most complex policy and governance projects at Amazon to enable users the capability of fine-grain access controls on column and row levels. On top of her daily responsibilities, she conducts interviews and lends her ear to all designers around her and offers clarity and honest feedback. She is the rock in this group that can take on any size project known to man!!
Su Kyeong is very insightful, intelligent, pragmatic and highly collaborative. She can quickly assess the UX needs of a team and execute on a plan that produces designs that results in better products. She takes a keen interest in the business goals of a project and clearly intends her work to be actionable and have impact. I worked with Su Kyeong on multiple projects at MarketLive including the company’s first native iOS application, Omni-Touch POS, a mobile Point of Sale application. During our collaboration on the project, I was immediately impressed with Su Kyeong’s intelligence and get-stuff-done approach. We quickly agreed upon a UX plan, and recruited and scheduled a diverse set of customers to speak with. Su Kyeong produced a compelling and clear design that factored in the store associate, store manager and administrator personas, the typical use cases and also aligned superbly with our product vision. Su Kyeong would be a great asset for any user experience team.
Su Kyeong is an extremely strong UI Designer who delivers high quality work day in and day out. She works well under pressure and turns around impressive designs even during compressed delivery schedules. She has the acute ability to take broad ideas and turn them into creative masterpieces with limited iterations, often providing a solution that was everything the customer wanted…and more! She is the consummate team player; always willing to help, take on tasks beyond her own to keep our product deliverables on schedule, and teach or guide anyone across the organization in her areas of expertise. Su Kyeong excels at designing solutions for complex problems. She has worked with me on many projects at MarketLive from the very large (the new Responsive Shopping Template set, the new drag-n-drop Automated Mechandising UI) to the small (improvements for the MarketLive Administration UI). In all of those projects, Su Kyeong's unique blend of design vision and pragmatism produced user experiences that our Merchants and their Shoppers are using to great success. Su Kyeong is a great designer. She does not compromise and rightfully so because her decisions are always well-informed. She puts in the effort in understanding not just the customers but the overall business strategy and goals. Business understanding together with her top-notch design skills makes her a good addition to any team she will be part of.
